Lenoir County Republican Chair denies write-in accusations
Lenoir County, NC:
Lenoir County Republican Party Chairman, Keith King, has denied any
involvement with the Mosley for Mayor Write-In Campaign.
King stated, "As Lenoir County Republican Party Chair I adamantly deny any involvement from
myself, LCGOP Officers, or any known involvement from Republicans in Lenoir County concerning
the write-in campaign for Mayor Mosley.
I do not appreciate the accusation made in the newspaper
last week and would gladly discuss this issue with the 'some persons' the newspaper writer referred to in the article. I am supporting B.J. Murphy for Mayor based on his character, position on issues,
and enthusiasm to make Kinston a better place to live and work."
King continued, "I have watched as Kinston deteriorates under its Democratic Leadership. Just look at the 'All America City' sign the Democratic Mayoral Candidate is using as his campaign slogan.
It is worn, faded, and in need of repair. Most of the citizens of Kinston are unhappy with the constant downward spiral the city has been in for years and years. Kinston's citizens are moving away for
better opportunities for themselves and their families."
"There is still a chance for Kinston to once again be a leading community in Eastern North Carolina enjoying growth and prosperity. The voters can make that happen November 8th with a vote for change. Same leadership usually means same results. Results that Kinston can not afford to have
continue." King also stated. |
