Washington resident Greg Dority wants to be lieutenant governor of North Carolina.
That’s why he plans to file in February to run in the Republican primary in May.
If he wins the Republican nomination, he would face the Democratic nominee.
“I think solid candidates are going to show up well this fall, and Greg is one of them,” said Hood Richardson,
a Beaufort County commissioner and Republican.
